    Zotero is a free and open-source and robust reference management software.

    The tool helps you collect, organize, and cite sources for the academic and research work. It was first developed by the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University in 2006.

    With Zotero, you can easily acquire information from websites, PDFs, and other sources with a single click. T

    You can organize and annotate these sources in a searchable database, and use them to create bibliographies and citations in a variety of citation styles.

    Besides, it allows for collaboration with other researchers, as you can share their collections with others and work together on projects.

    This reference management tool is available as a desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as a browser extension for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

    It can be used for a wide range of academic disciplines, including humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.

    Dr. Ujjal Marjit leads the Centre for Information Resource Management of the University of Kalyani, India. He received his bachelor honours degree from Visva Bharati, Central University and Master in Computer Application from Jadavpur University, India.He did his BLISc and MLISc from Madurai Kamraj University, India. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Kalyani. He was also a visiting researcher at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. Dr. Marjit was a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), USA. He has coauthored several book chapters and over 70 research publications in various International Journals and Conferences. Dr. Marjit attended many national and international conferences in India and abroad ( Germany, London, Finland, Norway, Netherlands). He has been working in University since 2001.
